It’s simple. All Saints is a modestly sized community of about 150 souls, but powerfully dedicated to loving and caring for our neighbors. Volunteers are always needed and always welcome! And we love to hear new ideas about ways we may serve.
Just to give you a sense of the substantial, ongoing opportunities, here are some of them:
- Year-round meals for needy children
- Preventing evictions
- Worship leadership
- Fixing racial, economic, and justice inequities
- Raising food for local Food Pantries
- Home visitation
- Crises assistance
- Volunteering at the annual Calvert Arts Festival for charitable purposes
- Vocal and instrumental music
- Creating handmade gifts for others
- Technical support
- Youth service opportunities
- Repairing homes of the elderly
- Sunday School
- Care of our historic property
- Reading camps for children
- Music concerts
- Community issue presentations
- Adult Christian education
- Raising many thousands of dollars for local charities
- Housing solutions for those who serve our County
- “Showing up and speaking up” in person and in media as a community voice for good
- Planning and volunteering at the annual ECW Christmas Market
